Rumors have been swirling that Sasha Banks is unhappy with her booking in the WWE. Specifically, she was unhappy that the WWE booked her and Bayley to lose the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship belts during WrestleMania 35.
Banks used to be red hot in both NXT and the main roster, being a NXT Women’s Champion and a four-time Raw Women’s Champion. Lately though, she seemed to be floundering until forming a tag team with Bayley and winning the inaugural Women’s Tag Team Championship.
The Boss hasn’t been seen on WWE TV since and is said to be on vacation, a move that the company has recommended she take. She has also, however, unfollowed both the official WWE Twitter account and Vince McMahon. Instead, she has followed the Twitters of WWE rival All Elite Wrestling and several of their stars Cody Rhodes, The Young Bucks, and Kenny Omega.
Banks’ behavior has spurred rumors that she’s looking to jump ship from the WWE as soon as possible. But, if she does decide to say, there could be a great feud waiting for her as The Man Becky Lynch has asked for a fight.
Lynch and Banks have a long history together in NXT where they were sometimes allies who ended up fighting for the women’s title and were part of the Four Horsewomen. They were called up to the main roster at the same time and, along with Charlotte Flair, competed in a Triple Threat Match for the inaugural WWE Women’s Champion during WrestleMania 32.
Lynch’s Tweet at Banks has gotten fans buzzing. One of those talking about it is Banks’ tag team partner Bayley. Bayley responded to Lynch’s Tweet to Banks by sharing a photo of the two of them watching Lynch’s match during WrestleMania.
Banks herself has yet to respond but she did recently post again on Instagram. Despite her reported unhappiness about dropping the titles, it would seem that her anger doesn’t extend towards the team that beat them but instead, directed towards WWE.
