Seth Rollins has had an interesting 2018 that has seen him hold the Raw Tag Team Championships as well as lifting the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania. Rollins’ WrestleMania plans were on hold for most of the year when both Jason Jordan and Dean Ambrose were injured, but the former World Champion was able to make the best of it.
Rollins was part of an incredible gauntlet match ahead of Elimination Chamber back in February which showed that he was not only a gifted athlete but he was also in incredible physical shape.
Given the things that Rollins has already achieved this year, it’s not surprising that Rollins recently spoke to NOLA.com to promote Monday Night RAW in New Orleans, and stated that 2018 was the most fulfilling year of his career.
“I’d say this year has been the most fulfilling of my career. I feel like I’ve overcome a lot. And I feel a lot of freedom, I feel a lot of excitement, something that I hadn’t had in a couple of years,” he said via WrestlingInc.
Rollins along with the rest of The Shield is currently on the back foot since they were attacked by the entire RAW locker room on Monday night but the former Champion also opened up about the revenge plans that The Shield has on RAW.
“I can’t tell you that. The Shield always has something up its sleeve, though we’ve been caught off guard a little bit lately. The team of Dolph, Drew and Braun is quite formidable. Braun is no joke, and neither is Drew. Dolph is a little bit of one, but he’s clever and wily and a veteran.”
“In my opinion, The Shield is the greatest faction of all-time, one of them, and I can’t think of a better place to throw a party than New Orleans. It should be a very eventful Monday.”
