Seth Rollins was one of Roman Reigns best friends on WWE TV as a fellow member of The Shield which was why The Architect was spotted fighting back the tears on the ramp following Reigns announcement.

The entire promo was felt backstage and many WWE stars went on to send public messages to Reigns via Facebook and Twitter, but Rollins has finally spoken out about how Reigns’ announcement was felt backstage on that fateful episode of Raw.

Rollins recently spoke to Al Arabiya English about how he’s dealing with being on the road without his former friend and what the atmosphere has been like backstage.

“It threw everything up in the air. It’s hard to go a day without thinking about him and how he’s doing and hoping he’s doing alright. I’m fighting the urge to check in on him like a brother every two hours, but he’s a strong dude, and I know that he’s in a good place mentally as well as physically.”

“He’s in good health for the most part. I think he’s going to be able to fight this thing pretty strong. We’re just getting through it while we can. Obviously it’s going to be easier as time goes on, but certainly, the last couple weeks have been, and last week especially, have been a roller coaster of emotions. Lots of ups and downs,” he said via Ringsidenews.

Rollins has his work cut out over the next few weeks since his former friend Dean Ambrose recently turned on him and left him in a position where he lost both of his friends on one episode of the show and could now lead to Rollins and Ambrose being given a huge push on WWE TV.
