Last month, Becky Lynch announced her pregnancy on Monday Night RAW and handed the red brand’s women’s title to Asuka in an emotional segment.
The Man bid farewell to the ring as the WWE Universe poured in their wishes for the longest-reigning RAW Women’s Champion of all time.
During a recent interview with The Post’s Joseph Staszewski, Becky’s real-life partner Seth Rollins opened up on whether The Man would return to in-ring competition following her childbirth. The power couple is expecting their baby in December.
“Oh yea, I expect so. Obviously that’s gonna be up to her and how she feels. Who knows what happens after childbirth once she becomes a mother, I don’t know. I believe she has aspirations to return.”
“I think she would rather go out on her own terms whenever that time may be as opposed to stepping away for a child. I think she has aspirations to return, but I don’t know. Things can change between now and December.”
Lynch and Rollins have already stated that their wedding, originally planned for May, would take place at a later time due to the COVID-19 situation.
While the WWE Universe expects Lynch to return for a WrestleMania 37 programme, it remains to be seen what plans The Man has in store for her family following her childbirth.
