Seth Rollins and Paul Heyman definitely don’t see eye-to-eye right now, since Heyman has been helping his client The Beast Incarnate to cash in his Money in the Bank contract on Rollins ever since May.
Rollins has so far managed to foil every attempt and the latest one at Stomping Grounds hasn’t seen Lesnar return since the beatdown left him with a number of interesting injuries.
Despite not being on WWE TV, Heyman has still teased a cash in from his client and has been a thorn in Rollins side, but now that he’s the Executive Director, things will need to change.
Heyman is the best man for the job outside of kayfabe since his knowledge of the business is second to none and he has already worked with most of the roster so he knows their strengths and weaknesses.
In storyline, Rollins can’t be happy about the fact that one of his biggest enemies will now be in control of Monday Night Raw and the WWE Universe doesn’t have to wait until this Monday night to find out how Rollins feels about the appointment of Heyman at the helm of WWE’s flagship show since he recently shared his thoughts on Twitter.
As reported, Heyman will be in control of the show in the same way that Triple H controls the NXT brand, but he will still answer to Vince McMahon since it will always be his company.
Speculation suggests that Heyman won’t be appearing as an authority figure on Raw anytime soon, but will instead continue his duties as the advocate for The Beast Incarnate, Brock Lesnar.
Rollins’ recent tweet seems to bring his appointment into a storyline, so it could be leading towards a confrontation between both men on Monday Night, as the build-up to Extreme Rules continues.
