Seth Rollins Will NOT Be Alone At WWE SummerSlam

The Kingslayer will have someone in his corner on August 19 at SummerSlam.

This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw featured Seth Rollins in a 2-on-1 handicap match against WWE Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre. Rollins lost the match despite his best efforts.

The story that has been unfolding for the past few weeks says that Rollins needs someone in his corner to get equal in the number’s game. His Shield brother, Roman Reigns is however not allowed to get involved as WWE wants him healthy for WWE Universal Champion match against Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam.

Last week, Bryan Alvarez noted on the Wrestling Observer Live that The Kingslayer will once again be be reuniting with Shield partner Dean Ambrose upon his return.

It was also revealed that WWE plans to resurrect The American Alpha by reuniting Jason Jordan and Chad Gable. Jordan and Gable hasn’t been much of a success in singles competition.

“Plans change all the time, everybody,” Alvarez said. “The last I heard was it’s probably going to be Jordan and Gable again and Rollins and Ambrose as the teams [added to Raw], and not Rollins and Jason Jordan. But who knows what they’ll do?”

That last sentence referred to how CEO Vince McMahon keeps changing his mind at all times.

Ambrose has been sitting on the sidelines for almost 9 months with a triceps injury and Jordan was written off of WWE TV with a neck injury since February, 2018. The Lunatic Fringe will make his much-awaited return at SummerSlam.

While Jordan is expected to be back soon, there’s no exact return date for him. It was earlier reported that Jordan would be back in the game once the Creative thinks he is needed based on storyline purposes.
