Last week on Monday Night RAW, Seth Rollins completed his heel turn after revealing himself as the leader of AOP and decimating Kevin Owens backstage.
On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported that despite his heel turn, Rollins wrestled as a babyface during the house show this weekend.
“Seth Rollins at house shows this weekend was a babyface.”
“Seth was a babyface wrestling Erick Rowan at the house show this weekend. He only worked one house show this weekend and he was a babyface. So it’s… I don’t know what to say.”
The Beastslayer will portray a heel role on television from hereon, meaning the weekend house show was perhaps the last time before fans see him wrestle as a full-fledged babyface once again.
Ric Flair went to battle at WWE Crown Jewel in Saudia Arabia where his team lost to Team Hogan after Roman Reigns pinned Randy Orton to pick up the historic victory.
During a recent interview with Wrestling Inc., Flair revealed that he was medically cleared “to do something” but Vince McMahon canceled the physical spot.
“I got cleared medically to do something in Saudi and then Vince nixed it. If I would have fed Roman in that huge comeback he made, or tapped Hogan, that would have been the coup de gras. You just wanna give them everything they paid for and sometimes if you’re not physically involved, you feel like you’re not giving everything you had if you’re not physical.”
It would’ve been a dream come true for many had Flair been allowed to get physical at the Saudi Arabian show.
“I have this gift that God has given me where I don’t hurt anywhere, knock on wood.”
Let’s see if WWE allows Ric to get involved in action ever again.
