Shawn Michaels Rumored To Retire The Undertaker At Wrestlemania 35

The WWE Universe may finally be nearing it’s long-standing nightmare – The retirement of The Phenom. The Deadman. The Undertaker, at WrestleMania 35.

Such is the report as per Daily Mirror, that claims The Undertaker to finally hang up his boots next year at WrestleMania 35 after going down in the ring for one last time against long time foe and WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels.

If the report is to be true, then we may see another showdown featuring The Deadman and Mr. WrestleMania at the Showcase of Immortals. The third epic blockbuster match is rumored to take place on April 7, 2018 at the MetLife Stadium in New York.

The Undertaker defeated Michaels in the historic “Streak vs. Career” match at WrestleMania 26 causing HBK to retire. As WWE is quite popular for repeating storylines or at least doing the tit-for-tat treatment, we may see the story come full circle when The Showstopper defeats The Phenom at WrestleMania 35 causing him to retire, thus ending their rivalry once and for all.

A few weeks ago on Monday Night RAW, HBK announced that he is coming out of retirement to reunite with Triple H and take on The Undertaker and Kane at Crown Jewel.

D-Generation X is scheduled to face the Brothers of Destruction on November 2, 2018 in a tag team action. The tag team feud kicked off when The Undertaker after losing to Triple H at WWE Super Show-Down on October 6, 2018, along with Kane attacked both members of DX.

Michaels had lost to The Phenom in two consecutive WrestleMania events – WrestleMania 25 and 26. This time it might be the Sexy Boy who causes The Deadman to “rest in peace” as both square off against each other for one final time at WrestleMania 35.
