The current WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair will be facing Sonya Deville this week on SmackDown Live, only a few days before squaring off against her friend-turned-foe, Becky Lynch, at Hell In A Cell.

The match between Flair and Deville was officially announced on Saturday (September 9) on WWE’s official twitter page.

While the Queen has faced off with Deville before, this is the first time she’s going to do so without any backup. Formerly, Flair and Becky Lynch were known for helping each other out in the face of Deville and her former Absolution-mate Mandy Rose.

While it’s quite possible Rose will be in Deville’s corner, Lynch will definitely not be in Flair’s corner and could even be waiting in the wings to deliver an opportunistic beat down to soften Flair up before the two have their championship match in Hell In A Cell (September 16).

Meanwhile, it looks like this upcoming SmackDown might also be seeing another match between Jeff Hardy and current U.S. Champion Shinsuke Nakamura. At least, if we’re to believe what Hardy recently tweeted.

Nakamura took the U.S. Title off Hardy during Extreme Rules (July 15). He successfully defended the title against Hardy at SummerSlam (August 19), but it seems things between the two men are far from settled.

Much like Flair needs to look out for Rose or a lurking Lynch, Hardy better be prepared for the possibility of interference in the form of Randy Orton. Orton returned at Extreme Rules to attack Hardy and has been getting involved in Hardy’s matches since. The two are actually set for a match at Hell In A Cell.

One last thing to look out for in the upcoming SmackDown. . . General Manager Paige is going to debut a new look. Paige recently posted a photo of herself with a new haircut on Instagram.
