WWE presents Crown Jewel on Friday night before the build-up to Survivor Series can officially begin, but even though November’s biggest pay-per-view is right around the corner, plans for TLC could have already been confirmed.
The SAP Center in San Jose, California is currently advertising a number of matches for the show which doesn’t take place until December 16th. If these matches are correct then they give away a number of spoilers over the next few weeks.
Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins are set to collide over the Intercontinental Championship, whilst Ronda Rousey defends her title against Battle Royal winner Nia Jax and perhaps more interestingly Braun Strowman faces Drew McIntyre.
The match between McIntyre and Strowman was expected to be for the Universal Championship, but at present, this match isn’t being advertised as a Championship bout.
Braun Strowman takes on Brock Lesnar this Friday in Saudi Arabia to crown a new Universal Champion following Roman Reigns’ departure, but this could be a huge hint as to the future of the Championship following Crown Jewel.
This also means that Seth Rollins is set to keep hold of his Intercontinental Championship for the next five weeks ahead of his bout with Dean Ambrose and the build-up between Nia Jax and Ronda Rousey is going to dominate the Raw Women’s Division much like the first time these women collided back at Money in the Bank.
TLC is WWE’s final pay-per-view of the year and often includes a number of gimmick matches so it will be interesting to see how many of these matches include Tables, Ladders or Chairs since it has become a tradition at the pay-per-view of the same name.
