WWE Crown Jewel takes place on November 2, 2018, from the King Saud University Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
For the first time ever in WWE history, D-Generation X (Triple H & Shawn Michaels) will clash against the Brothers of Destruction (The Undertaker & Kane) in tag team action. This highly-anticipated match will main event Crown Jewel.
According to PWInsider, currently, there aren’t any plans for the four WWE legends to appear next week on Monday Night RAW in Manchester, England.
Perhaps, this goes on to indicate that there aren’t any plans for WWE to continue the DX vs. Brothers of Destruction feud. The main event matchup in Saudi Arabia may be the very first and last time that the WWE Universe can expect to see the four cornerstones brawling together in the ring.
If reports are to be true, then The Phenom and Devil’s Favorite Demon will win the epic tag team match, and despite rumors heavily doing rounds in the IWC, Michaels has not committed to any further future matches.
Mr. WrestleMania was reported to have said that his decision on lacing up his boots again will depend on how he feels after the Crown Jewel match. Michaels is coming out of retirement after 8 years since he was retired by The Deadman at WrestleMania 26 in the historic “Streak vs. Career” match.
The Showstopper has time and again strictly refused to work 1-on-1 matches due to his age for he is 53 and fears of not being able to keep up with the younger Superstars namely AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan.
It was earlier reported that WWE is planning to have HBK retire The Undertaker at WrestleMania 35, however such plans may be scrapped if things don’t go as per Michaels’ expectations at Crown Jewel.
