This past week on RAW, WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels made his return to WWE as he attempted to give his prediction for the final match between Triple H and The Undertaker before he was interrupted by The Deadman himself.

It was The Undertaker who retired Michaels back at WrestleMania 26 and it appears that there is definitely still some kind of deep-rooted hatred between these two men. Michaels claimed that he had remained retired for more than eight years out of respect for The Deadman, whilst Undertaker claimed that it was out of fear.

It was obvious that WWE wanted the WWE Universe to think there was a chance of another match between these two men and in Melbourne, they could finally set it up.

According to The Wrestling Observer, adverts in Australia are now promoting the fact that Shawn Michaels will be the special guest referee for the match between Triple H and Undertaker, much like he was at WrestleMania 28.

The circumstances are very different this time, Undertaker gave Michaels a lot to think about and he could decide to call the match in favor of his longtime friend Triple H, which would then definitely set up a match between the two men down the line even as soon as Survivor Series, which is Undertaker’s favorite pay-per-view.

Michaels admitted in a recent interview that he would be open to a return to the ring as long as it wasn’t against someone who was half his age and The Undertaker definitely fits that criteria.

Michales has been working as a trainer in NXT in recent years and is thought to be in peak physical condition and fully prepared for his return to the ring.
