<p>NJPW World Television Champion Zack Sabre Jr. made a surprise appearance this Saturday during ROH’s first set of TV tapings at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. The tapings are in preparation for the relaunch of the ROH TV show that will begin airing on Honor Club on March 2.</p>

<p>Saber Jr. defended his title against Blake Christian during the show. This is his second match on ROH, and his first since Tony Khan bought the promotion. He made his ROH debut at Final Battle 2018, defeating Jonathan Gresham.</p>



<p>Sabre Jr. had been set to challenge Bryan Danielson at AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door last year. However, Danielson wasn’t medically cleared to compete and instead found a replacement – this turned out to be a debuting Claudio Castagnoli.</p>



<p>Sabre Jr. wasn’t the only NJPW star present at the ROH tapings. Also competing on the show were Aussie Open’s Kyle Fletcher and Mark Davis, who defeated Tracy Williams and Rhett Titus. Meanwhile, NJPW Strong’s Clark Connors confronted ROH Pure Champion, Wheeler Yuta.</p>
