Starrcade takes place on November 24th live from Cincinnati, Ohio and whilst there is no word yet on whether or not the show will be streamed on the WWE Network, there are a number of matches that the WWE Universe were hotly anticipating.
One of these matches included a steel cage match between Charlotte and Becky Lynch, a match that has since been pulled because The Lasskicker is struggling with a concussion and a broken nose.
Charlotte is still advertised for the show but at present, the former Women’s Champion doesn’t have an opponent because Lynch won’t be cleared to perform in time.
The steel cage match between AJ Styles and Samoa Joe will still go ahead but it is no longer for the WWE Championship since Daniel Bryan is now the Champion heading into his match this weekend against Brock Lesnar.
It was reported a few weeks ago that Baron Corbin would now be Braun Strowman’s opponent instead of the original plan of Strowman vs. Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre in a Handicap Match.
There have been a number of changes to the card over the past few weeks and along with many of these changes, two new matches have been announced for the show which see The Miz take on Rusev and Finn Balor step up to Drew McIntyre.
Other matches on the card include Seth Rollins vs Dean Ambrose in a street fight for the Intercontinental Championship, Rey Mysterio vs Shinsuke Nakamura for the United States Championship, The New Day vs The Bar in the SmackDown Tag Team Championship and Elias is scheduled to perform a concert with Ric Flair.
