Stephanie McMahon is one of the most annoying characters in the WWE, but she is still a company-woman through and through. McMahon recently appeared on the Bar Stool Podcast and talked about several topics, including the fans’ discontent towards the product.
McMahon feels that fans are usually very vocal about their displeasure with the product, and keep on asking for different things. According to McMahon, fans should stay patient as WWE is often setting up things for a major event down the line.
“They’re [the fans] being very vocal and they’re telling us exactly what they want and sometimes to your point earlier, it’s not what you want to do because you’re setting them up for something else. But sometimes it’s a setup for a payoff of something even bigger and they just have to be patient.”
Stephanie McMahon was part of the group which announced that WWE will be listening to the fans in December. However, things haven’t changed greatly and fans continue to express their displeasure with the product. WWE needs to step up the game or else they are in danger of losing fans to AEW.
Stephanie is often the face behind the ‘Women’s Revolution’ in WWE, and speaking of the revolution, WWE released a new trailer for WWE 2K20. It will feature a Four Horsewoman Showcase, which follows the career of Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, and Bayley.
The trailer featured legends like Stone Cold, Hulk Hogan, Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart and Sting, all declaring themselves as “The Man”.
WWE also released the complete list of matches which will feature on the 2K20 showcase, which starts from the very first Takeover in NXT, right until the Wrestlemania 35 main event.
WWE 2K20 is available for pre-order and is scheduled for worldwide release on October 22 for PlayStation4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
