For the last few weeks, AEW had been indicating an alliance between Darby Allin and Sting.
Allin is a youngster in All Elite Wrestling and he very much needed some form of guidance from a wrestling legend who has decades of experience in the business.
AEW has officially announced that Darby and Sting will team up for the upcoming Revolution pay-per-view and tussle it out against Brian Cage and Ricky Starks.
On AEW Dynamite this week, Taz challenged Sting and Allin to a match. As of now, AEW has advertised it as a street fight, though it could more likely end up being a cinematic match.
The Stinger said that he’d like to have cinematic matches in All Elite Wrestling some time ago, and considering his age, he’s probably not going to work a lot in this Street Fight match.
