WWE Crown Jewel takes place next Friday night and even though the show has been surrounded by controversy ever since it was first announced, the company has continued the build-up to the show on-screen and not shown any hints that there is an issue with the location.
Last night on SmackDown Live WWE made it official that The New Day would be fighting The Bar for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships. Just over a week ago as part of SmackDown 1000, The Bar was able to defeat The New Day to lift the titles after help from The Big Show.
The issues between Cesaro, Sheamus and The New Day have been on-going for years, but now the five men will do battle once again if the show is kept in The Middle East.
This time around The Bar will have an answer to the numbers game of The New Day since The Big Show will be joining the duo at ringside to combat the third member of the trio.

Crown Jewel has been dominated by news from outside the ring over the past few weeks, which is a shame since the show itself looks like it could be fantastic.
Right now, the card is looking stacked since it will see Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman colliding over the vacant Universal Championship, the reunion of The Brothers of Destruction as they fight D-Generation X, AJ Styles defends his WWE Championship against Daniel Bryan and the WWE World Cup Tournament takes place.
The show is currently scheduled to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, but WWE is scouting sites in America just in case the company needs to change the location of the show.
