Survivor Series is the one night of the year where WWE’s main roster brands go head to head and so far the matches that have been announced see United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura facing off against Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins, Universal Champion Brock Lesnar taking on WWE Champion AJ Styles and SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch stepping up to Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey.

Last night on Monday Night Raw, the WWE Universe witnessed a shocking title change as Acting General Manager Baron Corbin forced Seth Rollins to defend his Tag Team Championships on his own since Dean Ambrose refused to step up and help his former friend.

AOP were victorious over Rollins after the numbers game came into play and the two men delivered an innovative new finisher to pin the former World Champion. Tonight on SmackDown Live it was made official that the tag team match at Survivor Series will be AOP vs The Bar.

It is unknown as to whether or not Rollins will want a rematch for his Championships next week on Raw, but regardless, as part of the tapings on SmackDown Live earlier tonight the graphic was shown and it was made official that Authors of Pain will be walking into Survivor Series as Champions to take on SmackDown Live Champions The Bar.

There are a number of teams who are prepared to step up to challenge AOP in the coming months following Survivor Series, but right now their focus will be on Cesaro and Sheamus, who interestingly walked into last year’s Survivor Series as Raw Tag Team Champions and faced off against The Usos in a losing effort for their brand.
