Former Impact World Champion Tessa Blanchard is currently enjoying married life and waiting out the pandemic.
Wrestling Inc’s sources have said that Blanchard, who is residing in Mexico with her new husband, wrestler DAGA, is waiting out the pandemic before making future moves.
When the pandemic winds down or gets more under control, the two will move back to the US and Blanchard will make a choice on what promotion to sign with.
Wrestling Inc. is also reporting that Blanchard still has a choice between going to WWE or AEW.
While other reports have said that AEW is not interested in Blanchard allegedly due to reports of bad behavior backstage, sources are disputing that and have said that AEW and WWE remain interested in Blanchard.
Blanchard has allegedly treated other women talent backstage in some other promotions badly. The most notorious incident allegedly occurred in Japan, where she is supposed to have used a racial slur against another performer.
Blanchard’s behavior was also reportedly why she was stripped of the Impact World Championship title this June and released.
There were also some allegations that she hadn’t been meeting her obligations to Impact while quarantined in Mexico. She was supposed to have been sending them videos that they could use for on-air packages.
