WWE officially announced the release of Superstar Big Cass a few hours prior to this week’s episode of SmackDown Live and a major portion of the WWE Universe is making fun of the fact that the 7-footer couldn’t even survive for more than 6 months following his former tag team partner Enzo Amore, who was released by WWE in January, 2018. The bitter part is that neither of the two men received a “best of luck in your future endeavors” wish in the official statement either.
However, for Cass things seem to be a just a little bit different.
Mattel takes a lot of time to manufacture WWE action figures to make sure that the quality of those toys live up to the reputation of Mattel’s name. This is the exact same reason why it takes a long while to get an action figure released for a debuting Superstar and why some top NXT Superstars still don’t have any action figure yet.
It looks like Big Cass had another action figure on the way and it seems impossible to cancel it at this point because according to Ringside Collectibles, Cass’ upcoming action figure is scheduled to hit shelves on August, 2018.
An upcoming Battle Pack of Big Cass and his former rival Big Show could recreate their rivalry from SummerSlam 2017, but when the action figures are released, it’s likely to play as a reminder that Cass isn’t with WWE anymore.
