16-time World Champion, John Cena broke up with his ex-fiancée and longest individual reigning WWE Divas Champion, Nikki Bella, ending their 6 years long relationship in the middle of April this year and the former pair has been making headlines ever since. This time, it was Nikki Bella who appeared on the front page.

Over the last couple of weeks, there has been an increasing speculation regarding the breakup being a publicity stunt to boost the ratings of the upcoming season of Total Bellas which premieres this Sunday on the E! Network. In her recent interview with ET Canada Live, the former Divas Champion opened up on the issue.

“I think sometimes people don’t realize how you can affect them,” Nikki said. “It’s kind of like when we try to talk to cyberbullies and tell them you have no idea how you’re affecting people. I’m a human being. I’m a human being that literally went through a breakup and everyone’s been through a breakup and think of how we feel.”

Bella continued, So mine is just been blown up and then people also are telling me I’m faking it so you’re now saying that my heartache is fake, and that makes it even harder. It’s just like, what can I do right? That’s just really, really tough.”

Nikki further mentioned that she is in contact with John Cena and that “it just makes it a lot harder.” She claimed that the speculation will be shot down once the new season of Total Bellas airs and viewers watch the drama unfold on the show.
