WWE Superstar Daniel Bryan returned to in-ring action at WrestleMania 34 for the first time after being forced to retire from pro-wrestling due to a career-ending injury three years ago.

8-time WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz and his wife Maryse were recently interviewed  by E! News where the power couple discussed various pro-wrestling topics. WWE uploaded a portion of the interview on their YouTube channel.

During the interview, The A-Lister discussed his issues with Daniel Bryan over the years. The two men got into a heated rivalry when Bryan became the General Manager of SmackDown Live.

Ever since his in-ring return, Bryan has been quite eager to punch Miz in the face and beat the crap out of the Hollywood star. Last week Bryan even challenged The Miz to a match at SummerSlam  but the latter declined the request spot-on.

The Miz also talked about Bryan’s WWE return during his interview and didn’t hold back while layinh out his opinion.

“Do you think Daniel Bryan’s return from injury has been amazing or has been a bust? A complete 100% bust. Everything that I say is the truth and nobody else seems to understand that and I don’t get it.”

At this point, Bryan hasn’t yet signed a new contract with WWE. The Miz is set to make a SummerSlam announcement on this week’s episode of SmackDown Lice and fans are speculating that WWE might be putting the two men together in the ring to tear the house down at the Biggest Party Of The Summer.

WWE has been teasing fans for a long time with this match and with Bryan’s current contract coming to an end in less than four weeks, SummerSlam might be the event where Vince McMahon would want to pull the trigger on this match.
