The Revival Declines Lucrative WWE Offer, Burial Resumes On Monday Night RAW

Former RAW Tag Team Champions The Revival are back to their old days of getting buried on the main roster.

As confirmed by Dave Meltzer, The Revival have turned down a lucrative WWE offer that would’ve fetched each individual $500,000 per year. The 5-year deal would’ve seen Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder each making a total of $2.5 million.

On this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, The Revival were portrayed as a laughing stock as the duo was shown in the shower with Dash shaving Dawson’s back.

The segment continued as The Usos would then make fun of the duo.

Later in the show, The Revival lost to the reigning RAW Tag Team Champions Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins.

As revealed by Meltzer prior to RAW, this week’s TV might be WWE’s response of The Revival turning down the lucrative offer. And that is exactly what has happened as the duo suffered extreme humiliation twice on Monday night.

The Revival is reportedly unhappy with the creative and so are several Superstars owing to WWE not keeping its promises.

In January, the company had assured wrestlers that there would be a revamped focus on the tag team division consisting of more serious wrestling. However, things haven’t changed at all for the past 3 months, making Superstars furious and unhappy with the management.

Dawson and Wilder are under contract till early 2020 which means that the burial that resumed this week could very likely continue up until their very last day in WWE.

The Revival can work out a fresh deal anytime in the coming months, however that doesn’t seem to be of much help given Dean Ambrose quit WWE as the company failed to satisfy his creative demands.
