The Riott Squad made their way to WWE’s main roster almost two years ago and were the answer to Absolution who had debuted on Monday Night Raw the night before. While Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville have since become a duo because Paige was forced to retire from in-ring competition back in 2018, The Riott Squad have remained a formidable unit.

Sarah Logan, Liv Morgan and Ruby Riott have been part of some interesting feuds ever since they were moved over to Monday Night Raw and were even embroiled in a rivalry with Ronda Rousey along with Nikki and Brie Bella last summer.

The trio hasn’t been able to lift any Championships during their time together, but it’s obvious that all three women have become the best of friends while working alongside one another in the ring, which is why it comes as such a shock that WWE told the former NXT stars that they wouldn’t last together any longer than six weeks.

WWE released an episode of Table for 3 including the three women and as part of a tease, a clip was shown that saw The Riott Squad talking about their early days as a team.

“We were told we wouldn’t last six weeks, so we didn’t change our characters, because we wanted to be characters outside of The Riott Squad. Yeah, I remember somebody coming up to us and just like, ‘In six weeks nobody is gonna know who The Riott Squad is. You’re all gonna be different characters, you’re all going to be separated…’ And we were just like, ‘Well… okay,” via Fightful.

The trio remained as a unit April this year when Liv Morgan was moved over to SmackDown Live alone.

It appears that the company could have some big plans for the three women as solo competitors in the future, but at present all three have been overlooked on their respective rosters since the Women’s Division has gone in a different direction.
