The Rock Endorses WWE Championship Run For The “Talented” Dolph Ziggler

The Rock has laid down his opinion on the outcome of the WWE Championship match at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view.

WWE Champion Drew McIntyre will be putting his title on the line versus his old “friend” Dolph Ziggler at The Horror Show at WWE Extreme Rules. On paper, at least, it can be argued that Ziggler is the superior wrestler.

This is McIntyre’s first WWE Championship run, though he has held the NXT Championship and the Intercontinental Championship. Meanwhile, Ziggler has been World Heavyweight Champion two times and is also a multiple-time Intercontinental and United States Champion.

In an Instagram post, WWE showed a picture of Ziggler holding the WWE Title. The caption reads, “A glimpse of the future?”

The Rock commented on the post, seemingly endorsing Ziggler going over and adding another championship to his list of achievements.

“I co-sign this decision,” wrote Rock in a comment to the WWE post. “Talented dude and always has a spark in his presentations,” he added about Ziggler.

McIntyre saw the comment and decided to give one of his own, stealing the Rock’s catchphrase in the process.

“It doesn’t matter what you think,” stated McIntyre.

We have to wait one more day to see whether McIntyre will retain the title or the WWE Universe will get a new “Show Off” champion.
