The Rock Calls “Generation Snowflake” Interview Fake
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson recently lashed out at the published interview in which he was quoted to have referred to the millennials as “Generation Snowflake”. The Great One took to Instagram to declare that the interview was fake.
“I can’t believe I have to do this again and set the record straight on something, but I’m happy to do it. Earlier today an interview dropped with me, apparently with me where I was insulting and criticizing millennials. “
“The interview never happened. Never took place. Never said any of those words. Completely untrue, 100%. It’s fabricated. I was quite baffled when I woke up this morning.”
“You know I’ve gained such trust and equity with all of you guys all around the world over the years and you know it’s not a real DJ interview if I’m ever insulting a group, a generation, or anyone. Because that’s not me, that’s not who I am. That’s not what we do.”
Triple H May Drop “Main Roster” Term
Executive Vice President of Talent, Live Events and Creative for WWE, Paul “Triple H” Levesque could be doing away with the “main roster” term. If the term is dropped in the near future, then that will also eliminate the “call-up” word from WWE’s dictionary.
Christian’s Lunch With Tony Khan
Former WWE Superstar Christian recently took to the E&C’s Pod of Awesomeness to reflect on the lunch that he previously had with President of All Elite Wrestling, Tony Khan. The lunch took place prior to the official announcement of AEW.
“Well, I’ve met [Khan] a few times,” Christian said. “I met him, strangely enough, through Chris Nowinski, actually. And, yeah, I had a little meal with Chris Nowinski and Chris brought him and he was telling me about stuff in matches that I had that I don’t even remember happening.
“I mean, that’s how big of a fan he is and he just wanted to talk to me about wrestling. And I was kind of more interested in the football side of it, so I was talking to him about football and he kept trying to switch the subject back to wrestling, and I kept trying to switch it back to football.
“Anyways, at one point in the conversation, I tried to talk him into firing his GM and hiring me as the General Manager of the Jacksonville Jaguars. Yeah.”
