Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s oldest daughter could carry on his electrifying WWE legacy into the next generation.
“The Great One” was the guest on ABC’s Good Morning America to promote his latest film, Skyscraper, and was asked about his children. Rock said that his oldest daughter, 16-year-old Simone, is extremely successful for her young age. He then capped it off by announcing that she has already starting to work towards her goal of wrestling in WWE:
“You know what the crazy thing about my oldest daughter, Simone, is she’s so smart, we’re all so proud of her. She’s going into her senior year. She signed with IMG as a model. She was Golden Globes Ambassador. Simone, is working so hard, and her work has already started, she wants to be a WWE wrestler.
“Yes! I love that idea and I think – we had this big conversation. She came with me to Hong Kong and Beijing and I said ‘Honey, whatever your passion is, I support that.’ It (wrestling) was good to me, I started my career in Madison Square Garden so, yeah. Bring it on. She’s gonna be a champ!”
Rock’s mother was also in attendance for the show, and approved her granddaughter’s wrestling intentions, saying “Yes, she will lay the SmackDown!”
NOOOOOO! Don’t ever hand my mom a LIVE microphone again. Yes, my nickname as a boy was “Dewey” but it was also cool ass nicknames like “Ax” and “Spike”.. https://t.co/A0rVxKew8W
