The Undertaker is back to taking souls and digging holes in WWE.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that The Phenom has inked a new deal with Vince McMahon’s promotion. Taker’s new commitment will prevent him from making any future appearances outside WWE.
The Deadman is still scheduled for Starrcast. As for his Q&A appearance at Inside The Ropes later this month, Taker has been replaced by WWE Hall Of Famer Mick Foley. However, the 3-time former World Heavyweight Champion will still be signing autographs at the event in UK.
Dave Meltzer noted:
“Whatever it was you know Undertaker he’s got some new thing where he can’t be… you know. He’s gonna fulfill his commitments, but I don’t think he’s gonna do new ones because that’s the new deal he signed with WWE because WWE doesn’t want him doing it anymore.”
The Phenom had opened a new Twitter account prior to WrestleMania 35 and also hired a booking agent, but WWE offered Taker a “great contract” to get him back and protect his mystique.
“The tea leaves… and that’s what it sounds like it would be, but sometimes when you read the tea leaves it’s not exactly like that. Essentially all evidence looks like that.”
The Undertaker made his WWE return last week on RAW after WrestleMania and buried Elias in Death Valley.
