The Undertaker Talks Being Disappointed With His WrestleMania 25 Match Against Shawn Michaels

WWE Hall of Famer, The Undertaker, was recently a guest on the Ed Mylett Show where he talked a little about his working relationship with another Hall of Famer, Shawn Michaels.

Taker and Michaels have had some epic battles in the past, including their match at WrestleMania 25.

While the match might be well regarded by many fans, the Undertaker told Mylett, both he and Michaels were disappointed – not so much about the match, but where the match was placed on the card.

Michaels and Taker’s WrestleMania 25 match wasn’t the main event, but rather the sixth on the main card. The main event instead went to Triple H and Randy Orton.

“When you get to WrestleMania, it’s awesome to be on the card,” began the Undertaker. “But when you’re on the card with someone the caliber of Shawn Michaels and the ego kicks in, where if you don’t put this match on last, you’re making a very big mistake.”

“We felt like we should be last,” he said.

The match during WrestleMania 25 was supposed to be Michaels trying and failing to end “The Streak”, instead it became the 17th win for the Undertaker at WrestleMania.

Taker and Michaels have had other epic battles since WrestleMania 25 and according to the Undertaker, he likes working with Michaels because of his skill and talent and the chemistry they have between them.

“Shawn Michaels can have a great match with a broom,” the Undertaker declared.

“That’s just how great he is. It’s fun to be able to work with guys like that, because I don’t have to worry about them,” he continued. “He’s not intimidated because he’s in the ring with The Undertaker.”
