The Undertaker is one of the most respected WWE wrestlers of all time. Recently, he sat down with The New York Post and talked about a lot of things. During the interview, he revealed his intentions of beating up Shawn Michaels backstage during WrestleMania 14.
Michaels was supposed to lose his title to Steve Austin at the show but his attitude wasn’t professional and he was unwilling to lose. Undertaker said that if Michaels causes any trouble, he’d beat him.
“Shawn, everyone knows the story, is supposed to drop the belt to Steve. Shawn was being Shawn in my opinion and like I didn’t know if he was gonna do it. My intention was to make sure one way or another business was done that night.”
The Deadman further revealed that Michaels wasn’t happy with Undertaker’s words. He asked ‘Taker if he was really going to hit him.
“I felt so bad because our relationship had changed so much that he goes, ‘Were you really gonna beat me up? I was like, ‘No man that’s just all rumor. Taping my hands up and everything, come on.’ He goes, ‘I didn’t think so. I mean that really didn’t sound like you.’’
