Despite starting the company in 2019, Tony Khan has continued to make big-money signings well into 2020, even at the outset of a global pandemic.
AEW’s top boss is not in a mood to slow down anytime soon, according to a recent episode of Wade Keller’s podcast.
Khan revealed that the company is in talks with several big-names, of which the fans are not even aware at this moment. Some of the names that have signed in recent months include Miro (Ruesv), Serena Deeb, and Matt Sydal.
“There’s people still debuting on Dynamite and there’s people that are working their way up our roster on Dark that I’m really excited about. Then there’s big names that nobody knows about that I’m talking to. So, I’ve got a lot of aces up my sleeve.”
The company currently boasts of a vast roster, with several stars working a non-exclusive contract.
Several displeased WWE stars are often rumored to join the rival promotion, and they could be part of the big-name signings which Khan mentioned during the conversation.
