<p>AEW announcer Tony Schiavone stated that AEW Chairman Tony Khan doesn’t plan to purchase Impact Wrestling.</p>



<p>Schiavone has been appearing alongside Khan in a series of “paid advertisements” that have been airing on Tuesday nights during broadcasts of Impact Wrestling.</p>



<p>During the “advertisements” Khan has been emphasizing his status as a wealthy man who can not only buy air time during Impact but could also buy the production if he wanted to.</p>

<p>During the latest AEW Dynamite Post-Show, Schiavone was asked about Khan’s reported claims that he could and would purchase Impact in the future.</p>



<p>“No,” said Schiavone about the reports. Schiavone went on to claim that Khan would be more interested in buying a vintage car.</p>



<blockquote class="wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow"><p>“He’s going to invest in a 1957 Chevrolet Coupe, which will bring him more money,” added Schiavone.</p></blockquote>



<p>Even if Khan isn’t interested in “purchasing” the competition, he’s keeping a closer eye on it, actually watching the show this Tuesday.</p>



<p>He appeared in another paid advertisement with Schiavone and with the addition of AEW producer, Jerry Lynn.</p>



<p>Afterward, Khan and Lynn sat ringside as AEW’s Private Party competed to become number 1 contenders for the Impact Tag Team Championships.</p>
