Triple H returned to the ring alongside Shawn Michaels at Crown Jewel when the reunited DX took on The Brother’s of Destruction in a winning effort. As part of the match, Triple H took a bump over the top rope and to the outside and it was later revealed that he had torn his pectoral muscle and would be forced to undergo surgery.
Triple H provided an update last week following the surgery where he stated that his road to recovery begins now and it was later rumored that this could mean that his match against Batista that was supposed to happen at WrestleMania following their face off back at SmackDown 1000.
Out of surgery, happy to report all is well. Thanks to excellent medical care of Dr. Dugas and his team and all the well wishes, messages, tweets, and texts I got over the weekend.

The Game is thought to be out of action now until around May next year since he will be forced to rehab this issue over that time, but as well as being an in-ring competitor Triple H has a number of jobs to do behind the scenes as he continues to control NXT and 205 Live.
Triple H was recently part of a conference call where he talked about returning to WWE to help with Takeover: War Games this weekend.
“I had surgery a week ago yesterday, everything is feeling good. I’m using an immobilizer now, on the road to recovery, it is just rehab, rehab, rehab now. I will be back. That does not stop this machine from rolling on, it is business as usual. I will be heading to Los Angeles tomorrow to begin preparations for what is a very exciting NXT TakeOver,” he said via WrestlingInc.
Triple H has been pulling the strings in NXT ever since it first began back in 2012 and now War Games could be one of the biggest shows in its history and The Game will definitely be part of it.
