The winners of the first ever Overwatch League finals are now the newest non-wrestling champions to be the proud owners of their own custom WWE Championship belt.
Triple H, in his role as chief operating officer of the WWE, sent the winners of the first Overwatch League final’s the London Spitfire team their own WWE Title.
Triple H has been known to send out customized WWE Championships to winning sports teams in the past, most recently, he sent one to the Philadelphia Eagles after their Superbowl win. But the belt for the London Spitfires is the first such belt that Triple H has sent to an eSports team
You can check out the custom belt and Triple H’s message of congratulations in his Tweet below:

As you can see, the belt has custom side plates bearing the name and the team insignia of the London Spitfires. The title commemorates their victory over the Philadelphia Fusion in the Grand Finals held on the last week of July.
London Spitfire is actually an American professional Overwatch team, they just take their name from the English capital. Their logo and name is intended as homage to the Supermarine Spitfire, a British military plane deployed during World War II.
