On Monday morning, WWE officially announced the details of what is presumed to be a blockbuster show on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 — SmackDown 1000.
And now, the wrestling promotion giants have officially announced three main event matches for the show via the Capitol One Arena website.
- AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe for the WWE Championship

The card is subject to change but fans can be assured that WWE will try to ramp up the show with star-studded matches and cameos featuring major names from the past. The Undertaker appeared on RAW 25 and is also advertised for SmackDown 1000.
WWE could also be eyeing SmackDown 1000 as the ideal platform for Hall Of Famer Hulk Hogan to finally return to cameras. Stone Cold Steve Austin is also speculated to show up and “Raise Some Hell”.
It is to be noted that the WWE Championship Match featuring AJ Styles and Samoa Joe has also been announced for the Hell In A Cell pay-per-view that takes place on September 16, 2018. Jeff Hardy vs. Randy Orton is also advertised for Hell In A Cell.
