The first ever all-women’s pay-per-view has now been and gone, but one woman who was missing from the event was former Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss. The Goddess suffered a concussion just days before the show and was then ruled out of the action and replaced by Alicia Fox the day before.
Mickie James and Fox weren’t able to overcome the threat of WWE Hall of Famers Trish Stratus and Lita at Evolution, where Alexa Bliss joined her team at ringside, but even though Bliss missed out on the chance to wrestle her hero at Evolution there could be a chance that the two stars will cross paths again in the future.
Stratus recently spoke to Newsweek where she talked about the fact that there was still time for her and Bliss to have that match.
“[Bliss] is very strong in the ring, with her promos kind of what my thing was. It would have been very special. Who knows there’s still time, but working together these past few weeks has been a real pleasure to work with another athlete. She’s a great gal and she does amazing things in the ring.”
There have been reports that Stratus and Lita could be sticking around until WrestleMania which means that there is plenty of time for WWE to push Bliss and Stratus into a match once again.
Bliss has seemingly finally been cleared to make her return to the ring now following her concussion since she’s advertised to be an active part of this weekend’s Live Events.
Hopefully, this is the start of a good turn of fate for Alexa Bliss, who has been struggling with injury ever since Hell in a Cell.
