Twitter Trends: First Match Announced For WWE Extreme Rules, Roman Reigns Responds To Negative Fan Reaction During Money In The Bank Match, The Revival’s “Life Complete”

WWE made its first match official for next month’s Pay-Per-View, Extreme Rules. During the opening segment of this week’s Monday Night RAW, General Manager Kurt Angle announced that Nia Jax will be invoking her rematch clause to challenge new RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss for the title. WWE Extreme Rules will air live from the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, PA on July 15, 2018.

Roman Reigns vs. Jinder Mahal at Money In The Bank was rated by many as the worst match at Sunday’s Pay-Per-View event. The crowd in attendance gave the two Superstars a hard time with chants of “NXT,” “CM Punk ”and“ This is Awful,” Lets Go Cena/Cena Sucks
Johnny Wrestling. Reigns took to twitter to address the negative fan reaction in Chicago and posted a John Cena-esque tweet.

However, match official had a different opinion and tweeted:

WWE currently has over 110 main roster talent and the roster is bigger than ever. Such a huge roster brings with it some latent benefits as well as backdraws. The Revival, one of the best tag teams in NXT history, seems to be lost in the giant roster as they haven’t had much exposure or push ever since they were called-up from NXT. The Revival, who hadn’t accomplished much since their main roster debut in April, 2017, were “revived” by legendary WWE Superstar and Hall Of Famer, Bret “The Hitman” Hart.

Bret Hart recently sent his niece, former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion, Natalya a photo of himself holding a pack of The Revival. Apparently, Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder are The Hitman’s new favorite action figures.
