On October 16th, WWE will present a huge SmackDown Live show from Washington DC celebrating their 1000th episode and so far the show is looking stacked.

The show takes place just a week before the first ever all-women’s pay-per-view WWE Evolution and already, there are a number of stars who have been announced to be part of the event.

Ric Flair, Triple H, Batista, and Randy Orton will all unite as Evolution for the first time on SmackDown Live, whilst Rey Mysterio is reported to be part of the show as well.

The Capital One Arena is advertising a number of big names for the show including WWE legend The Undertaker, former Divas Champion Michelle McCool, Torrie Wilson and former SmackDown General Managers Vickie Guerrero and Teddy Long.

Matches for the show have already been revealed as part of the advertisement and it looks as though Teddy Long could be taking over the show since there’s a tag match between Daniel Bryan AJ Styles, The Miz, and Samoa Joe planned as well as a six-woman tag team match which pits Charlotte Flair, Asuka, and Naomi against Becky Lynch, and The IIconics.

The show is expected to include a number of SmackDown legends with The Rock being a huge name that has been rumored to make a shock appearance which could then lead to an appearance at the Royal Rumble.

Raw 25 was able to bring back a number of legends and it seems that SmackDown 1000 could be looking to do the same thing.

SmackDown has been struggling when it comes to ratings over the past few weeks and could be looking at this celebration episode as the place where they can boost their ratings.
