Tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw will contain the final build-up to the first ever all-women’s pay-per-view, Evolution which will air this Sunday night on the WWE Network.

Many WWE Hall of Famers has been announced for the show over the past few days, including Alundra Blayze and Ivory, who only recently took their place amongst wrestling’s elite.

Both women have been added to the Women’s Battle Royal, but the build-up surrounding Evolution over the past few weeks has been focused on two Raw matches.

Nikki Bella and Ronda Rousey stole the headlines with their promo last week, whilst Trish Stratus and Lita stopped by to send a message to Alexa Bliss and Mickie James ahead of their bout this weekend.

Interestingly, PWInsider is reporting that Lita will be part of tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw, but there’s no word on if she will be joined by her longtime friend Trish Stratus. Shawn Michaels will also be present as part of tonight’s show as the company continues to simultaneously build towards next week’s Crown Jewel event.

Michaels announced a few weeks ago that he would be making his return to the ring for the first time in eight years on November 2nd in Saudi Arabia, as part of a show that has become one of the most controversial in the history of WWE.

Tonight’s Raw is expected to be an epic occasion as the women of WWE prepare to steal the show this weekend and the men then take center stage just four days later, so the build toward both of these shows is expected to reach an interesting climax in Providence, Rhode Island.
