Tyson Fury Wants To Face Brock Lesnar At WrestleMania
Tyson Fury emerged victorious over Braun Strowman in his WWE debut this past week at Crown Jewel and this maiden victory has caused The Gypsy King to set his eyes at the very top of the food chain.
Just when everybody had thought that Fury is done with wrestling, the undefeated heavyweight boxing champion sent out a tweet challenging Brock Lesnar to a match at WrestleMania.
WWE had originally planned The Beast vs The Gypsy King for Crown Jewel but plans changed and Fury was replaced with Cain Velasquez.
During WWE Backstage on FS1, it was announced that Fury will be addressing fans this Friday on SmackDown.
POTUS Is “Glad” About WWE-KSA Situation
POTUS Donald Trump has been invited to WWE Tribute To The Troops but his appearance hasn’t been confirmed yet.
Brad Shepard is reporting that Trump recently spoke to Vince McMahon about the annual show during which the recent situation between WWE and Saudi Arabia was also discussed.
“According to a source in #WWE, President Trump talked to WWE CEO Vince McMahon regarding the annual Tribute to the Troops show recently, and I’m told the travel situation with Saudi Arabia was briefly discussed, with President Trump saying that he’s glad it was resolved.”
Reason Why Brock Lesnar Quit SmackDown
WWE Champion Brock Lesnar has left Friday Night SmackDown for Monday Night RAW in pursuit of Rey Mysterio – this may have been the on-screen narrative but there’s more than meets the eye.
On After The Bell, Corey Graves noted the possible reason behind The Beast’s departure from The Blue Show – “benevolent” Brock wants to save his Advocate and RAW Executive Director, Paul Heyman some travel.
“Selfishly, I hate that because I am a massive Brock Lesnar fan. Love calling his matches, love watching what he does, but he has made the choice to stick to the Red Brand on Monday nights probably to save his Advocate some travel. That would be my guess because Brock is a benevolent human being if nothing else.”
