Tyson Fury Vows To “Flatten” Brock Lesnar In 30 Seconds
Tyson Fury emerged victorious on his WWE debut against Braun Strowman at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia. The undefeated boxing champion had won the match via count-out, but a win’s a win anyway.
During a recent interview with Sky Sports, Fury claimed that he could beat Lesnar in half a minute, be it “a WWE match or a proper fight.”
“I fancy a fight with Brock, for sure. I watched a few of his fights. [He’s] pretty handy, but I can flatten him. In a WWE match or a proper fight, I can flatten Brock Lesnar in 30 seconds.”
The original plan for Fury was to face The Beast at Crown Jewel but WWE replaced The Gypsy King with Cain Velasquez due to the UFC megastar being more popular in the United States.
Let’s see if WWE books Lesnar vs. Fury in the near future.
Trish Stratus Teases 8th Title Reign
Trish Stratus came back from retirement to take on Charlotte Flair this past August at SummerSlam. Stratus lost the final match of her career, allowing Flair to go over and establish herself as the most dominant woman in WWE today.
The 7-time Women’s Champion appeared on WWE The Bump during which she commented on The New Day’s 7th tag team title victory.
Stratus stated that The New Day have matched her but she will be game for an 8th title run if the trio receives another tag team title reign.
Stratus might have been joking but never say never in WWE. After all, her SummerSlam match against Flair was booked out of the blue!
It’s safe to assume that Stratus will definitely return for Evolution 2.0 (if the PPV ever takes place), but for now, she’s likely going to stay retired.
