Tyson Fury travels to Saudi Arabia to be part of WWE Crown Jewel next Thursday night when he takes on Braun Strowman in his first-ever wrestling match.
The Gypsy King is a World Champion in the boxing world, but his showdown with The Monster Among Men has become one of the most hotly anticipated of all the matches in the Middle East since he has been able to make the switch over to the wrestling ring so seamlessly.
Fury was recently part of a conference call ahead of his match against Strowman, where he was asked about his plans with WWE post-Crown Jewel as well as his dream opponent.
“No plans as of yet to do another fight as of yet, just go back to my day job, but after that – who knows? You might see another appearance after this one. If I was to continue, I would want to fight Brock Lesnar,” he said via Sportskeeda.
Brock Lesnar is another WWE star who will be making the trip out to The Middle East next week since he has one of the hardest matches of his career when he takes on Cain Velasquez for the WWE Championship.
Velasquez defeated Lesnar when they met in the Octagon a few years ago, but the star has now moved over to the wrestling business and is looking to be the man to dethrone Lesnar of the WWE Championship.
Fury is a World Champion in his business and is expected to go back to boxing after he pockets around $15 million (rumored) for his match against Braun Strowman. That being said, even though WWE doesn’t have any plans for Fury following this trip, a match against Brock Lesnar could be enough to draw Fury back to the ring in the future if WWE can get him to agree to their terms.
