Shelton Benjamin competes on Raw for the first time in a decade

Shelton Benjamin was unveiled as a new Paul Heyman guy last night on Raw, when he attacked Seth Rollins, who is the number one contender for Brock Lesnar’s Universal Championship.

Benjamin is a veteran of the business and this appearance and subsequent match on Raw was the first that the former Tag Team Champion had been part of on WWE’s Flagship show in almost a decade.

Benjamin’s last match on Raw came against Christian on an episode of the show back in April 2009, but sadly it wasn’t a successful return to Raw for The Gold Standard who was defeated by Rollins to kick off the show.
