Deam Ambrose’ Future

WWE officially announced that Dean Ambrose would be leaving the company in April when his contract comes to an end back on Tuesday after The Moral Compass made the decision not to re-sign a deal with WWE for another three years.

Many fans believe that WWE making the announcement official could be part of a much bigger storyline, whilst others believe that Ambrose could be another superstar who is AEW bound.

According to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer, Ambrose is quite close friends with Chris Jericho and Cody Rhodes, which is why it’s believed that he could be heading in that direction. Meltzer also noted that WWE has the option to freeze Ambrose’s contract to make up for the time that he was out injured last year.

Since the company already announced that Ambrose would be leaving in April, this seems unlikely but it could show that the company hasn’t given up the hope of his signing a new deal just yet.

Brock Lesnar’s WWE Future Unclear?

Brock Lesnar defends his Universal Championship against Seth Rollins at WrestleMania in April, but according to The Wrestling Observer, this will be one of his last WWE appearances.

Meltzer noted that following WrestleMania and the Saudi Arabian show that follows, Paul Heyman is expected to start negotiating Lesnar’s new deal which could be with WWE, AEW, and UFC.

Lesnar was originally prepared to leave WWE last year but was called back when Roman Reigns announced that he would be on the sidelines for an undetermined amount of time.

The Beast has always been a huge draw for WWE and he’s certainly not someone who needs to work for the money anymore, which means that it could have reached the point where Lesnar wants a break from the company and will be looking at what other offers are out there before settling down with a new deal.
