Becky Lynch won the SmackDown Women’s Championship from Charlotte back at Hell in a Cell and over the past few months the two former friends have been at each other’s throats, but their feud seemingly came to an end when Lynch was victorious in a Last Woman Standing match at Evolution last month.
Lynch has become one of the most popular female wrestlers in the company over the past few weeks, which is why she has been pushed so hard and is now set to face Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey at Survivor Series next weekend.
It’s highly unlikely that it will be Lynch who hands Rousey her first defeat since WWE is building towards Charlotte vs Ronda Rousey at next year’s WrestleMania, where it would be streak vs title if Charlotte can stay away from the Championship until next April.
This means that it’s likely that Becky Lynch will lose the Women’s Championship to someone else and Bryan Alvarez of The Wrestling Observer recently speculated that he thinks this will happen at TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs in December since this is the next time that Lynch will be forced to defend her title and it could be against a different kind of challenger.
“I’ve said this for weeks, I would bet money Becky’s losing that title at TLC,” he said via Ringsidenews.
Lynch has been able to dominate the SmackDown Women’s Division for the past few months and Nikki Cross recently made her way over to the brand and made a beeline for the Champion, which means that there are a number of possibilities when it comes to the next woman who will challenge Lynch.
