WWE high-flying legend, Rey “619” Mysterio was announced as the pre-order bonus for WWE 2K19 last week. Since then the speculation regarding Mysterio finally returning to WWE has increased and it is just a matter of time that the “Booyaka Booyaka 619” music hits and out comes the masked high-flyer running to the WWE ring amidst the WWE Universe.
In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer noted that he would go as far to say as “I strongly expect it to happen in relatively short order.”
Meltzer further revealed that he is under the impression that Mysterio and WWE being close on money terms and the number of dates he will be working. Mysterio wants to work a limited schedule in WWE as he wants to spend time with his family and likely because the 43-year-old’s body cannot handle a full-time road schedule at this point.
If WWE announces a deal With Rey Mysterio within the next few weeks then it would be interesting to see what that means for the ALL IN show in September as Mr. 619 is booked for that show.
