The Road To WrestleMania officially begins at the Royal Rumble, and at present even though Braun Strowman steps into the ring against The Universal Champion on January 27th, it appears that the company could be looking past The Monster Among Men.
Strowman is expected to be cleared to take on Lesnar at the first pay-per-view of the year in the coming weeks, but according to The Wrestling Observer, there is already a plan in place for Brock Lesnar to take on Seth Rollins at WrestleMania instead.
Of course, Brock Lesnar and Rollins have collided on WWE on pay-per-view before back at Battleground in 2015 when Rollins was World Champion and it was The Undertaker who made the save that night.
The Architect has proved many times that he has what it takes to become Universal Champion after being one of the first men to fight for the title back at SummerSlam in 2016, but he hasn’t come close to lifting it over the past two years.
Many members of the WWE Universe believe that Strowman could be walking out of Phoenix with the Universal Championship following The Royal Rumble, but this latest update seems to state that Lesnar will find a way to retain.
Rollins recently lost his Intercontinental Championship to Dean Ambrose at TLC, but it’s believed that the former Champion will win the Royal Rumble match to book his place in the match against The Beast Incarnate at WrestleMania.
It is still currently unknown as to which stars will be main eventing WrestleMania, but it is still believed to be the women, who have been pushing for this history making moment for a number of years.
