Vince McMahon appeared on Monday Night Raw a few weeks ago to announce the beginning of a new era, which has since cost Baron Corbin and Paige their jobs as General Managers of SmackDown Live and Raw.
McMahon’s new era includes the introduction of a number of new faces from NXT including Lacey Evans, Lars Sullivan, Nikki Cross, Heavy Machinery and EC3.
Whilst all these new faces are set to be added to the main roster in the coming weeks, it’s been speculated that there are also a number of pushes lined up for some current main roster stars.
Finn Balor is already receiving quite the push on Raw, whilst Drew McIntyre is expected to receive a boost in the coming months and AJ Styles looks to be gaining quite the rub from Vince McMahon.
As well as these stars, The Wrestling Observer is now reporting that Mandy Rose could be set for a huge push as well, a push that could see her character change dramatically as she looks to adapt to a character similar to the likes of Lana, Eva Marie and Emmalina.
Rose has been included in a number of segments over the past few weeks, which shows that WWE is looking to use her much more on TV. This can only be good news for the former Tough Enough star, who has already proved that she has what it takes to be a huge star in the squared circle.
The Golden Goddess is yet to be pushed towards the SmackDown Women’s Championship, but since Becky Lynch and Charlotte are now expected to turn their attention to Ronda Rousey, this could be the opening she has been looking for since McMahon could be hoping for Rose to step in to challenge Asuka in the near future.
