Vince Russo Criticizes WWE for the Roman Reigns-Adam Pearce Segment on SmackDown

Vince Russo recently spoke with Dr. Chris Featherstone of Sportskeeda’s Legion of Raw, where he discussed the ongoing storyline between WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, Adam Pearce, and Kevin Owens.

It was announced two weeks ago that Pearce would face Reigns at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view. However, last week, Pearce faked an injury after Reigns signed the contract. Later, he replaced himself with Kevin Owens. Now The Prizefighter is set to face The Big Dog at the upcoming pay-per-view.

Talking about the same, Russo criticized the creative process.

“Two weeks ago, Paul Heyman pulled some strings to get Adam Pearce in a match. The next week, Adam Pearce claims that he is not cleared to wrestle and puts Kevin Owens in the match. What happened to the strings Paul Heyman pulled? They could put anything out there, it doesn’t matter if it makes sense or if it doesn’t. They’re at the point now where it doesn’t even matter. When I saw the end of SmackDown, I’m like, “Are you guys serious man?” said Vince Russo.

Russo also said that Pearce outsmarting Reigns on Friday Night SmackDown isn’t good for The Head of the Table.

“Did Adam Pearce just outsmart Roman Reigns? So Adam Pearce just one-upped the head of the table?” said Vince Russo.
