WrestleMania 34 witnessed The Beast, Brock Lesnar (w/ Paul Heyman) conquer the The Big Dog, Roman Reigns in an action-packed bloody blockbuster to retain the WWE Universal Championship in the main event of the show. After WrestleMania went off the air, a profusely bleeding Reigns was checked out by medical officials for a long time first in the ring and then at ringside. WWE Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar along with his Advocate, Paul Heyman went to the back. Roman finally got up, shook his wife Galina Becker’s hand at ringside and left to his music accompanied by the medical officials.

The final eye-dazzling plethora of pyros was then blown up and the 78,133 strong were wished goodnight. It is reported that a very quiet crowd left the Mercedes-Benz Superdome because of the unexpected and shocking main event result which is in sheer contrast to Daniel Bryan’s fairytale climax at WrestleMania 30, although the two scenarios and storylines were totally different.
